Introducing Millington Early Learning Academy for 2025-2026!

Millington Municipal Schools is thrilled to announce the opening of the Millington Early Learning Academy for the 2025-2026 school year! Located at 3660 Shelby Road, this newly renovated and updated facility will welcome our youngest learners—our PreK students—into a nurturing and high-quality early learning environment.

About Our Pre-K Program

Millington Municipal Schools offers voluntary prekindergarten programs, which are funded by state and local resources. These programs provide income-eligible four-year-old children with access to a high-quality educational experience designed to prepare them for future academic success. 

Key Program Details:

✅ Completely free for qualifying families
✅ All school supplies provided by Millington Early Learning Academy
✅ Must Be Four (4) Years Old On Or Before August 15, 2025
✅ Must Reside In Millington, Tennessee
✅ Application Must Be Completed Electronically Via The Skyward Parent Portal

If space remains available after enrolling all income-eligible four-year-olds, we will accept applications for three-year-old children.

We are excited to welcome our newest students to Millington Early Learning Academy and look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growth!

Four-Year Olds: Applicants will be notified via email regarding application status prior to July 15, 2025. For questions or concerns with the application process, please reach out to Barbara Hodge at bhodge@millingtonschools.org

 

You will need to upload the following items with your application:

Certified birth certificate (mother's copy not accepted) 

Proof of current physical and immunization record on Tennessee School Form

Two (2) Proofs of Residence

Proof of Income and/or status-Current salary must be documented for all who work in household. (check stubs, W-2, Income tax returns, letter of termination, unemployment eligibility, Federal assistance eligibility letter)

 

          Please note that transportation is not available for our Pre-Kindergarten children.


Three-Year-Olds: The Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program targets four-year old children. If classes are not at capacity by September 15, 2025, applications for three-year-old children will be considered.  Parents will be notified by email if their child is accepted.
