Millington Municipal Schools

MMSD’s math curriculum, McGraw-Hill Reveal Math, follows the Tennessee Mathematics Standards, which are designed to build a strong foundation in mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. The major concepts taught across K-5 focus on conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application of mathematical principles.

Counting & Cardinality (K only)

Understanding numbers and counting sequences

Operations & Algebraic Thinking (K-5)

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division concepts

Number & Operations in Base Ten (K-5)

Extending place value understanding to decimals (5th grade)
