Millington Municipal Schools

The Department of Finance provides timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders while protecting MMSD assets and being responsible stewards of tax payer dollars. Compliance with all federal, state, and local applicable laws concerning the spending of public funds is ensured. While serving as a district partner, the Department of Finance manages accounting and financial reporting, tax, payroll, treasury, risk management, grants and contracts, and its internal and external audit partners.

In order to achieve this vision, the Finance Department must support all District stakeholders to ensure the activities proposed and resources requested reflect sound business judgment and support the overall goals and missions MMSD.
